When, like me, you sit all day to do your work, having time for exercise is absolutely vital – not just for my physical health, but for my mind as well. Poor trainers – I don’t dare to remember the times I have stomped into the gym fed up with work and clients, and stepped out an hour later feeling lighter, happier and re-energised!
I now know that I am happier and more relaxed when exercise is part of my weekly routine. Plus I find that having the discipline to turn up to a class means that I do switch the computer off and make sure I’m on time (most of the time!) – and I work harder as part of the group than I would on my own – so thank you fellow classmates!
As a gym assistant I try and pass on the things I have learnt and enjoy to others – there’s always something new to try….
