One morning aged 50 and a half I made myself walk into the gym I’d seen every time I buy the dog food. 4 months later, twice a week I’m still walking in that door.
I don’t skip in the door, won’t do classes or go it alone -but I will do as I’m told for an hour and leave light footed and happy.
Family, friends- and me! are surprised (and impressed) the gym hater goes to the gym. I am no longer scared to sweat or raise my heart rate, am not bored, can’t believe what I can do – and that’s down to James 2 and the friendly, relaxed, atmosphere at PD fitness. I still don’t want to go to the gym but I wouldn’t miss a session.
